Interface Trouble…
So I just got around to noticing how WordPress squicked around with the Admin interface. I don’t like it. Not because it’s bad, just because it’s different. I’m already working on mastering the Drupal interface, then WP goes and messes with theirs! Gah!
School… that burden most grievous.
OK, so it’s possible the title is just slightly melodramatic, but it gets the point across. School is now in session, as I’m sure you’re all most painfully aware, and as such it has been rather difficult for me to post. Oh, and I sort of forgot about this blog. But it’s still here! And it’s still alive! I’ll try to be a bit better, but alas… things happen.
Rantage (well… sorta)
Wouldn’t you think that a general unspoken prerequisite of Swim Team is having taken swim lessons? Cause apparently some people don’t. There is a kid on my swim team who will most likely do his first lap in under a minute around the same time that Satan is out buying winter wear and space heaters. He is, in fact, so incredibly slow that in order to maintain a safe, non-awkward distance from him I must do front crawl with only my arms. You’d think this wouldn’t be so bad until you get to the part where he does not let people pass him!!!!!!! AAAAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!! People have to wait until he stops and grabs the wall (yes, he stops in the middle of laps to hold on to the wall and take a rest), then zip past him as quickly as possible before he starts again! It’s ridiculous!
But cooling on that, he’s actually gotten better, and I should be nice to him. I mean, if I were like that, I probably wouldn’t take to well to people trying to pass me either. And he’s nice enough… when he talks… which he rarely does. *sighs*… I suppose I shouldn’t judge others until I’m perfect myself…. And anyone who knows me knows that’ll be a while…
